Disgustly miserable food. The only time I will ever choose to eat from this place is because they are open 24 hours that's about it. I wouldn't be caught dead eating here

Just ordered from here & was disappointed. I ordered chicken parm & When I checked the bag to be sure it was right, the food was opened and all over the bag.. The food looked & smelled amazing but I couldn't eat it because it was all over the bag.

In my opinion this is one of the weaker diner's on staten island. The food is cheap quality, and they charge $2-3 more on everything than other diner's in staten island. There's a handful of diner's I'd much rather go to than this place.

We've eaten here several times now - me and my lady wind up taking food home every time we go because they give you too much - that's a good thing! The food is great, the portions are large, their selections are plentiful and the staff is super!

This place is out of control. To start of one of the more horrendous services that I have ever encountered. I can understand Staten Island has a drug problem, but I see no reason to higher waitresses (over night staff) who are CLEARLY drugged out of their minds and who can barley keep their eyes opened. A few waitresses their clearly need help and them playing dumb or stupid is not cute by any means (again, this is directed at the over night staff). On multiple occasions my group had to send back the orders MULTIPUL times and the waitress blamed it on the cooks. Correction, you take the order, it's your responsibility to make sure you deliver it to the cooks properly. On top of that, when we pointed it out, there was no apology, just a simple "yea, I forgot". Here's another kicker, the half zombie staff LOVES to charge you for things they forgot to bring out or that you have never even ordered. I also wish this was an isolated incident but this week's of attempting to let this place redeem itself since it's convenient and opened all night. Also the food is 8/10 times horrible, taste like it was reheated a million times and left out to sit. Only positive thing I can say is the bus boys are very nice and personable and the older man who stays in the front is friendly. Other than that the place is a total waste land.

My friends and I met for breakfast, today Thursday April 23 1015.Service was excellent. always made sure our coffee cup were field, food was very good, they made it to what we can have since we are all on special diets.Everyone is very friendly.

I've been eating at Mike's for many years. I find the food is consistant. The portions are enormous & very well prepared. I find the manager Dymitry to be always friendly & very warm to myself & all the guests which is very important. I wish more places would have a person as nice as he to make you feel at home. Its a great local place for families to have a nice relaxing meal.

Real disappointment. Food was nasty freezer burned and no flavor ever time we complained the waitress said we usually cater to seniors who can not have salt. The food was definitely not fresh and to top it off hair in the dessert. Real upset as this place was pretty good when we moved here 2 yrs ago. When asked by hostess how things were I replied " horrible" she replied yea a lot of people are saying that , we have a whole new crew. I guess they should bring back the old crew. It's a shame as I don't see this place lasting much longer at this rate. They need Restaurant impossible to come and step in.

As far as diners go you pretty much can't beat this place. The food is good and the staff is attentive; I've never had to wait too long for my order or had any other problems. I've been a regular customer here for a while and wouldn't even think about switching to another place.

EEK METHINKS NOT! Couldn't have said it better than Yelp themselves. Dirty, dated diner with lousy food. Rude loud and obnoxious waitresses blame the kitchen for all screw ups and then argue with you when they brong the wrong order and say it is not wrong. Management doesn't care at all. And by the way if you like week-old fermented fruit order a fruit cup...GROSS! This place has gone down hill quick...hope for an overhaul of food, décor and staff!

Local diner on the main avenue. Always come here super late after a hang out. Pretty good burgers cause thats what I always usually get. I enjoy the fries cause they come a lot with your burger. I love the pickles but not the coleslaw that they give you before your meal but my BF eats every lettuce and its so gross, no kisses for you after haha. The waitress are nice and I always enjoy a nice chocolate shake! Decent prices and theres TV's and its not as big as the others but theres a private parking lot too.

I now live in NJ but always loved Mikes Place and its a treat when my wife is on SI to get some take out. I have to say it seems things have declined. I like to get the Spinach salad with Chicken but as soon as I opened the container I could tell there was a lot less "salad"...maybe one piece of dried up chicken sliced up..one over-cooked hard boiled egg wit green yokes cut in half...wilted mushy unedible spinach..tomato cores (I kid you not)..one sad old piece of mushroom. WTF happened?! The only good thing was the white sauce (thank god) but unfortunately that isn't enough for a return visit. Oh did I mention the price was crazy...for Christ Sakes its a salad...take fresh ingredients and put them in a damn bowl..not that hard I guess unless you don't have fresh ingredients or less than stellar chefs in back...

Pretty decent diner. Service is pretty good. Sweet potatoes fries are great! The buffalo wrap isn't really chicken cooked in buffalo sauce, it is just added on. There are TVs for those who like to watch while they eat. Try to get a table in the main part of the diner because the part by counter is always cold. The parking lot is kind of tight and small, but diner is always open.

I'm surprised these guys don't have 4 or more stars, they deserve it. If your looking for a diner in the area this is the place. Food and service is good. Chicken fingers and fries are awesome. They also dominate the island with restaurants so you can find a location anywhere.

like many folks have mentioned... this is one of the better diners in SI. Colonnade Diner is another OK one, but i'd pick this diner over all of them. their menu is huge- the burgers are always made nicely and service is always pleasant. it never gets too crowded; you can hang out with your friends and not be bothered by the staff or other patrons.

I guess this is your typical Staten Island diner. I haven't had much experience eating in SI but I'm from Brooklyn so I guess it can't be that far off. The menu looks about the same, so do the prices. I ordered an egg white omelette; was pretty good but I couldn't finish it. I normally don't eat before 2pm so it was overwhelming for me. He got waffles and sides of meats. That thing was huge and he almost ate it all. Nothing great and nothing bad. It's so-so.

Best veggie burger I have had so far. Waitress was nice and outgoing. She made us feel comfortable and did not mind giving us extra time to place our order. Since I went with a group of friends we wanted to separate our bills. The waitress had no problem giving us separate bills. The restaurant could use an update though. The table and chairs were old and felt sticky. I saw trash between the booth seats.

Really disappointed. Service was poor, got no refills, had to ask another waiter for our waitress, only to be greeted rudely. When ordering dessert we ask for a cake they did not have, she ripped the menu from our hand and walked away. We said well what dessert do you have and she nastily Replied " Do i look like a Menu' and i asked for the menu back, and it was left there. When the food was served our waitress had her hands in our food, and was not attentive to our needs. I have come here many many times, but lately it seems as if it is a downhill ride for mikes.

I went here for breakfast with a friend and we decided to order cheeseburger deluxe! When it came out mine had a string of hair on it, YUCK! I asked for another one and when I got it, the fries were cold with no taste and the burger was ok at best! I won't be back! PU

One of the nicer diners on the Island, but...perhaps you know my take on diner food by this point. There is nothing particularly bad nor good about this particular diner. They do the burger, grilled cheese, pancakes etc...just like any other diner. Good. Solid. Not fantastic. You get my diner drift, eh?

Out of all the diners on the island, this is my favorite. They always get my order right and it's a relaxing atmosphere with ample parking. If you want to split the bill, they can do that by dollar amount as well. The staff is attentive and friendly.

There's countless diners on Staten Island, and few agree with me, but I think this happens to be my favorite. The menu's a little different, and there's always coffee in my cup. This is usually my hangover spot. The panninis are pretty good. I don't eat salads, but i've seen them, and they're massive. Don't rule this one out of your "it's 2 am and i need something to make me regurgitate all this tequila" trip. In fact you might want to, because depending on what you order, you might jsut want to keep it down.
